FAQ

1. How long does it take for my carpet to dry?

On average, your carpet will dry in as little as 2-3 hours. Drying time depends on how much solution we use, the humidity, temperature, carpet thickness etc.

2. Do I need to vacuum before you clean my carpet?

In most cases, no. If there is a lot of dry soil and/or pet hair on the carpet, then we do recommend vacuuming before we service your home.

3. What do you consider an area?

Typically an area is a room up to 200 sq. ft. L-shaped living room/dining combos are considered two areas. Non-standard areas, such as baths, hallways, landings, walk-in closets, etc. are priced at a separate, usually lesser rate.

4. How long will it take to clean my carpets?

On average, an area will take about 15-20 minutes to clean. This time estimate can change considerably depending on soiling, furniture that needs to be moved and spot treatments.

5. Do you move furniture?

We can move light furniture upon customers request when cleaning. We do not move heavy furniture pieces, breakables and electronics.

6. Do you have appointment arrival windows?

To ensure customer satisfaction, we have condensed our arrival window time to only 2 hours. On the day of your appointment, we will call you when we’re on our way.

7. Am I able to walk on my carpet right after having it clean?

You definitely can, although we recommend wearing shoe covers until it’s fully dry. Your technician will provide shoe covers upon request to prevent re-soiling while the carpet is still drying.

8. Can you guarantee removal of my stains and/or odor?

We’re stain removal experts. We will give it our best shot to make your stains go away. Unfortunately some stains are permanent and some odor problems are impossible to eliminate without removing the pad, cleaning and sealing the subfloor.

9. If I have stains that won't come out from a standard steam clean, will it cost more?

We try our best to get stains out with a steam clean . If we have to spot treat specific stains i.e. pet stains, coffee stains, wine, juice, rust, etc. then it takes us more time and more solution, so we definitely charge more.

10. I have pet stains and/or pet odor. Can you treat this and if so, how much will it cost?

We specialize in pet stains and odor control! Treating per stains and odor takes more work than a standard steam clean. It’s best for us to inspect your carpet with a UV blacklight to pinpoint where the stains are and provide options for treatment.

11. Do you offer Scotchgard?

We recommend (and so does the manufacturer) protecting your carpet fibers with a product like Scotchgard. This helps in preventing re-soiling and makes it easy to clean up stains. We can apply it after the cleaning. Carpet protector can be applied on upholstery too.

12. If my carpet is in bad condition, will you tell me if it needs to be replaced?

Before cleaning, we do a thorough pre-inspection. If we think your carpet looks like it needs to be replaced, we will tell you and recommend replacing your carpet.

13. How often should I clean my carpet?

Depending on if you have kids, pets, wear your shoes in the house, etc., we typically recommend every 6-12 months. Carpet is the biggest “filter” in your home and accumulates allergens, dust, bacteria, soil, body oils, etc. It’s a good idea to have your carpet cleaned often to remove those particles from your home.

14. Do you offer any other services beyond carpet cleaning?

Yes! We have several other services we offer. We offer tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning, area rug cleaning, fiber restoration, Auto and RV upholstery cleaning and more.

15. Do you have a referral program for my friends and family?

We love referrals! If you refer someone to us, we will give you 10% off your next cleaning.

16. Are your technicians background checked, drug screened and trained?

All of our technicians are background checked, drug screened and given thorough continuous training and on-the-job safety training.
